Description	The Power Converter Group (EPC) of the Accelerators and beams department (TE) is responsible for operating and maintaining the power converters for the whole CERN accelerator complex. The accelerators require continuous maintenance, adaptation to changing needs and continuous updating. The group is also responsible for the design, production follow-up, testing, installation and operation of the power converters for the future CERN projects.
Special Requirements	As part of the team responsible of the organization of the operation and maintenance of the power converters, your project will be: - Design and develop web interface for the different tools used for operation and maintenance of the power converters (database, logbook, etc...). - Design and develop web tools to analyze operating data. - Design and develop web training program for the technicians in charge of the first line interventions. Special requirements: University degree or equivalent with good knowledge in the field of Web development with VB.NET or C#, and Data Bases Technologies (SQL). Knowledge of English or French.
Training Value	The trainee will gain an experience of the organisation and the means that the TE/EPC group has to setup, for the first line intervention team. In addition, this two main projects are an excellent opportunity for the trainee to learn the project management as he will meet many peoples from the maintenance teams, analyse their need, propose and produce the related application or technical procedure.
